Other Activities
There is a large variety of
activities other than skiing and snowboarding in the winter months. Around
Grindelwald there are over 70km of toboggan runs, including the 15kn run from
the Faulhorn which is the longest in the world. You can also dash through the
wintery landscape on a toboggan at night after a cosy cheese fondue. This is
possible from Bussalp which is easily accessed via bus from town.
There
are also opportunities to go snow shoe walking, heli skiing, ice climbing,
telemark skiing, cross country skiing for which there are over 70km of tracks.

In both the winter and
summer months you will notice the sky is full with paragliders, it is a very
popular sport here and once you try you will know why, as it is the most
beautiful and peaceful way to see the mountains, you can have a go with a
